Jessica McCain currently ives in Nice France. She left Arizona and a western art career behind, to study and paint abroad, settling in France. Abruptly changing subject matter, technique and color palette, to pursue artwork personally inspired by French Impressionists, and Russian narrative painters. Working in oils, pastels, sculpture, she is putting together a collection of work tied together by color, and technique, but varied in subject matter. Spending time perfecting some new techniques and polishing her color palette. Currently working on a series of contemporary figurative paintings, using live models.
